GLOCAL & philosophy · Explainer

Why does GLOCAL put young people at the centre?

GLOCAL’s work is designed to be led by young Canadians. Participants help research, design and deliver civic information and community projects, bringing their own skills and perspectives to the work.

What can young people contribute?

Young people can be civic-knowledge builders, service designers, researchers, communicators and digital creators. Their work helps information reach communities in forms people can understand and use.

Is there only one way to contribute?

No. GLOCAL offers volunteering, community projects, research and digital civic tools. Different interests and experiences can lead to different forms of meaningful contribution.
