Morning · 9:30–11:30 a.m. EST
Interact with youth from your province and riding. Learn about their self-led projects, offer advice and take part in thematic roundtable discussions.

A national gathering featuring youth initiative highlights and remarks from parliamentary leaders. Recognize and converse with youth, educators and community partners from coast to coast to coast.

Why we come together
Many initiatives begin in a school, neighbourhood, Northern community, university project or online collaboration. GLOCAL on the Hill creates a bridge from local participation to national visibility, bringing youth experiences, community concerns and emerging solutions into direct conversation with Parliament.
GLOCAL works to make community service and civic participation more accessible, inclusive and innovative, particularly for young people and communities facing geographic, social or institutional barriers.
Civic-issue research, public-interest data analysis, community outreach and storytelling, legal literacy, and digital innovation for civic good.
More youth, family and friends will connect through virtual and digital showcase opportunities. Joining details will be shared as arrangements are confirmed.
A growing community of participation
More than 3,000 youth are connected through GLOCAL’s national youth service network. In the past three years, GLOCAL has supported 400+ youth-led microgrant projects and 2,000+ volunteer and community-service placements, working with schools, universities, community organizations and local partners.
The Showcase is an opportunity to share that work, learn from one another and build relationships that continue beyond the event.

Registered participants will receive their assigned schedule and arrival information directly. Activities depend on the participant’s group and registration; not every delegate attends every activity.

On June 6, 2026, the Nunavut Regional Showcase brought youth-led civic initiatives into conversation at the Franco-Centre in Iqaluit.
On February 7, 2024, GLOCAL brought youth-led civic initiatives and guests together on the Hill. These activity sheets from that event invited participants to meet people, ask questions and share their experiences.
